Return/exchange/Cancellation Policy
I do not offer returns currently.
If an item was received damaged, you have within 72 hours of delivery to contact me to get a refund.
If you have an item with a manufacturing defect, please reach out to [email protected] or use the contact page.Bags typically have a small defect rate per batch and due to the nature of the product, I'm unable to do more than a cosmetic inspection of the bag when I pack and ship. If there are issues such as a loose stitch or a bad strap, I'm more than happy to help get that resolved! Please reach out to me, and let's get that fixed.
If possible, please take pictures and send them my way! I take these issues extremely seriously and having images of the manufacturing defect allows me to better communicate to the manufacturer.
Once a package is in the hands of the post office, the responsibility of the package falls under them. For items still in transit, I cannot give a refund or replacement order if the item was confirmed as "delivered" or unless the shipment is confirmed "lost" by the post. Please contact the post office regarding the lost item first to see what steps need to be taken. If a claim needs to be made, reach out to me and I can file that. Once the claim is approved, I can send out the replacement shipment.
Preorder Policies
Bags typically take 2-3 months to manufacture and roughly 1-1.5 months to ship to me due to the size and quantity of stock moving, so please read the item description carefully for production notes and rough dates. I will try my hardest to ship the product out ASAP, but I am a single person with a full-time job, so there might be delays.
Orders that contain pre-ordered goods will not be shipped until everything is available, so please keep this in mind when placing an order.
With issues due to COVID-19 and other current events affecting USPS/USP, please allow up to 7 days for your tracking to update. Shipping may take up to 2 weeks for domestic shipping, and anywhere between 2 - 12 weeks for international shipping.
I am located in the USA and will typically ship out products on Tuesdays. If packages are smaller and fit in my mailbox, I will be able to get them out sooner.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes! I now offer international shipping off my Big Cartel site. Shipping to certain zones might be more expensive than what I have listed due to certain delivery restrictions, but I will work with you on options for shipment. It is pretty rare, and all cases I've seen have been from UK or Australia.
Orders from the United Kingdom will need to be placed via Etsy.
For orders made with me prior to my etsy store launch, I will do my best to fill out the forms on my end, but any import taxes will be your responsibility.
Any UK orders made here on BigCartel will be cancelled and refunded.
VAT and Customs
Customers are responsible for paying the proper customs fees, VAT, and taxes for their respective country. I will not be responsible for any fees or VAT.
If you purchase on Etsy, the tax rate will be automatically applied, which will make the cost appear higher, but as a marketplace site, Etsy is able to collect VAT.
Do orders come with tracking?
Yes, orders will come with tracking!
Can I change my address?
As long as your item has not shipped, you are allowed to change your address. If need be, I can send it to a friend or family member to hold on to. Please reach out to me with your order number from your order confirmation email and I can help you update your address.
If your order has been already shipped and you have not update your address, please reach out to your post office to discuss any option for package interception, as I will not be able to do anything about it. :(
Help! There is an item missing from my order!
I deeply apologize for that! Please reach out to me at [email protected] or the contact page and PLEASE INCLUDE the order number found from the Big Cartel order number found on the Big Cartel order confirmation email as well as include what item is missing from your order so I can help you out!
Please allow me about 24-48 hours to respond before sending a follow up email. I do my best to respond ASAP, but I work a full time job with tight deadlines, so sometimes I will be unable to respond right away.
Order numbers should look like #LEFM-123456 and include the full name you used when placing the order.
